R+A

I was delighted to be a part of this wedding that took place on the cusp of winter, a beautiful but sometimes unpredictable time of year with temperature fluctuations and unexpected rainstorms. Luckily for the bridal party and their guests, the rain held off on their wedding day and the temperature was quite nice given the time of the year, all adding to the whimsical and charming feel of the day.

The wedding took place amongst nature, surrounded by towering pine trees and lush green foliage. It is every nature lovers dream wedding; out in the calmness of nature and surrounded by friends and loved ones who came out to share in R and A’s special day.

The brides dress was nothing short of stunning; the mermaid dress was decorated with lace and had delicate sleeves, accented with an incredibly long and flowing veil that trailed behind her as she walked down the aisle, smiling at her soon-to-be husband.

The outdoor ceremony was followed with photos that offered the beauty of nature with the encapsulating love of the married couple; R and A shared a kiss on a small dock in front of the water as a duck swam by, took a stroll over a stone bridge decorated by nature with deep green moss, and even took a rowboat out onto the pristine and calm lake to enjoy some time alone together as husband and wife.

The reception took place outside under a large tent where, as evening approached, we had the opportunity to take more photos as dark clouds rolled in. Luckily, the rain held off as the reception continued on into the evening. The bride and groom played with sparklers with their friends and family and shared kisses throughout the night, including the groom dipping his new wife for a kiss, a wonderful moment that was caught by camera.

Congratulations R and A!
