The rings were sparkling, the shoes were perfect and B & S were ready to share their vows in front of all of their friends and family on their wedding day!
The bride had chosen a beautiful dress for her wedding day; a strapless dress with lace detailing and a small train that travelled on the ground behind her. Accessories included a long and beautiful veil and a white bolero that was adorned with jewels to keep the bride warm. I also had time to spend with the groom as he got ready, going through some traditional motions with the help of his groomsmen and his family before heading to the ceremony.
This wedding was huge! It was so great to see everyone, both friends and family, gathering at the church to celebrate the union between B & S, and I was so happy to be able to photograph everyone, including the bride and groom exchanging their vows, smiling onlookers and even children who paid close attention to the ceremony.
At the reception the couple celebrated, popping champagne bottles and shaking up the bubbly so that it foamed and sputtered all over. Their cake was unique, a grey-purple color with accents of yellow. Before dinner, both bride and groom changed out of their gown and suit and into more traditional clothing; the brides dress now a beautiful purple and yellow, matching the groomsmens vests.
After the change, the bride and groom made their rounds greeting and speaking to friends and family in attendance and had a chance to sit down and enjoy their first meal with one another as husband and wife. After that it was time for some speeches and then dancing the rest of the night away as a perfect way to wrap up the evening.
I was honored to be a part of B and S’s wedding day, capturing the memories that they’ll share for a lifetime.
