An engagement is an exciting time for a couple, and one thing that many of them do shortly after the announcement (or before the announcement to friends and family) is contact a photographer for engagement photos. This has become much more popular in recent years and I love getting in contact with couples who are eager to share the news through photos.
This engagement photo session was a lot of fun, despite one party not particularly liking being photographed. However, their significant other decided that it would be a fun thing to do and the other went along with it, of course! The things you do for love.
We spent the day travelling around town and taking photos and included a stop at the beautiful University of Washington campus, well known for its stunning architectural design. We also managed to get some photos within the library on the campus that had an old, elegant feel to it. After getting some more photos on the campus, we headed down to the beach where not only the water but the foliage and cliffsides served as a gorgeous backdrop for the couple.
We ended the photoshoot with a couple more photos of the couple sharing loving embraces at the waterside as the sun set beyond the horizon. It was great to spend my time with the lovely couple and I am glad to report that they are now happily enjoying married bliss with one another.
